President Salih Welcomes U.S. Senator, Tammy Baldwin
The President received today at the Presidential Office, Democratic Member of U.S. Senate from Wisconsin, Sen. Tammy Baldwin alongside the delegation accompanied her. United States Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Matthew Tueller, attended the meeting.
Together, they discussed the bilateral relations in addition to the support for Iraq so as to complete its triumph over terrorism by the reconstruction its country and economic transition, and deliberated the issues of common concern.
Those in the attendance reviewed developments in the regional and international situations as well as the need to de-escalate the tensions in the region.
